Electromobility – What we offer
One of the most important factors in developing electromobility is an easy-to-use charging infrastructure that covers a large area. Life with an electric vehicle should be just as convenient as with a fuel-powered vehicle – in addition to being better for the environment in the long run. Our solutions help encourage adoption of the mobility of the future. We are committed to expanding the charging infrastructure; we also make it possible to easily find and use charge spots.
What does this mean, exactly? To be able to provide such a wide-ranging charging infrastructure, it is necessary to have a platform that allows various market players to collaborate. Known as service brokering, it comes into play on the Hubject project. Thanks to Hubject, customers of partners that have connected via eRoaming need just one contract to access all public charging stations on a single platform.
Of course, a broad-coverage network of charging stations is no good if no one uses it, which is why we developed the Bosch Charging Apps. With these apps, drivers of electric vehicles can simply and reliably find charging stations and pay for their charging services conveniently by smartphone – with no minimum fees or minimum contract term. There’s nothing stopping these drivers from a relaxing driving long distances, unworried about range.
