Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan - Aberdeen
The Transport Strategy team at Aberdeen City Council undertook a self assessment using the European Commission’s guidelines on Developing and Implementing a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (2014). A draft SUMP was developed in early 2019 and then went to Council Committee for approval. Following this online public consultation was held on the draft SUMP to ensure the SUMP was in line with expectations. The draft SUMP was revised slightly to reflect the findings of the public consultation and will go back to Committee in late 2019 for final approval.

Energeo are in discussions with East Lothian now to undertake further analysis to support their urban mobility initiatives. Service development is also underway to integrate Energeo's renewable energy data to enable identification of clean, local and off-grid power supply to the EVCP's, and local grid infrastructure data to allow determination of grid constraints and grid impact of EVCP installation. Additionally, Energeo are developing a SaaS platform that would enable the end user to access this data through a browser, and run EVCP deployment scenarios on the fly to determine impacts

Onboard Contactless Ticketing
Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, was one of the first cities in the world to implement true Account-Based Ticketing (ABT) for public transport.
