At Bluelands, we are addressing three major global challenges simultaneously: rapid urban growth leading to housing and space shortages, increased flood risk, and limitations on land reclamation.
We have developed a solution by creating new land on water. Our approach involves a turnkey, floating system constructed using readily available building materials. This system can be assembled on water, features built-in insulation, and is ready to support various structures such as houses, apartments, offices, shops, and mixed-use developments within one to two weeks from the start of construction. A key advantage of our system is its ability to operate in much shallower water than all alternatives, functioning in water as shallow as half a metre deep. With Bluelands, we transform water into serviceable land, pioneering a new era in floating solutions where innovation meets sustainability.
