Use Case
Sustainable Cities And Communities
The city of Konya needed a way to determine the proportion of bicycle usage in transportation, as there was uncertainty regarding the routes requiring new bicycle paths. The primary objective of this Use Case was to address these issues and propose solutions.
In this project, implemented in the pilot region during the initial stage, images captured by a camera were processed to gather and provide information regarding the number of cyclist crossings in the current location. This data will enable the city to plan enhancements and new investments in the relevant location.
