The Dublin Region Open Data Climate Action Challenge seeks innovative ideas and applications that use open data to drive climate action. Entry is open to companies, organisations, individuals and teams of all ages and backgrounds through completing a short application form.

How does it work? Applicants fill out a short application form outlining their proposal. This may be to create new or build on to pre-existing analyses, applications, interactive maps and visualisations that use open data and address climate change in some shape or form. Applications are shortlisted, and participants given eight weeks to complete their projects. As well as support and advice from the organisers. On completion, there is a showcase of all the innovative, engaging and practical solutions and prizes are awarded to participants.
