Launching day of the Preliminary Consultation of the CPI Challenges Marketplace

Since 2019, the Department has been developing the projects "Dynamization of CPI (Innovative Public Procurement) and innovative foresight actions in the City Council of Alicante", funded by the Valencian Agency for Innovation and co-financed by the European Union through the Operational Program of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the Valencian Community 2014-2020. These projects seek to raise awareness, train, promote innovation and generate projects that address traditional problems from new perspectives. The aim is to detect innovative solutions to the problems detected in the scope of the Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development Strategy (EDUSI) in four main areas: care for the elderly, commercial dynamization, energy efficiency and waste collection and recycling.

On this occasion, the Preliminary Market Consultation will focus on two challenges of Public Procurement of Innovation: accessibility to the Castle of Santa Barbara and care for the elderly living alone.
