This June, European stakeholders will once again convene for the annual “European Sustainable Energy Week” (EUSEW), organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy (DG ENER), and by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA).

The 2023 edition is hybrid, taking place on 20-22 June both online and onsite in Brussels. In keeping with the fact that 2023 is the European Year of Skills, the event theme this year is: ‘Accelerating the clean energy transition – towards lower bills and greater skills’.

Transportation accounts for almost a quarter of all of Europe’s greenhouse gas emissions. It is thus no surprise that renewable and efficient energy use is central to Europe’s mobility and transportation policies, disscussions, and future.

EUSEW consists of: a three-day Policy Conference; the European Sustainable Energy Awards Ceremony; the Energy Fair; and the fourth European Youth Energy Day. Independently organised Sustainable Energy Days are taking place in online and physical formats worldwide, from March to June 2023.
