Community Spotlight: The City of Helsingborg is the first in the world to use AI technology to screen body temperatures - @Kristin Engholm

Summary: By using unique technology and thermal sensors in combination with novel AI, the city of Helsingborg in southern Sweden is the first in the world to estimate trends of elevated body temperatures within a population.  The technology aims at enabling a variety of efforts to improve public health.  It is also being used to see if the collection of aggregated body temperature estimates could provide an early warning sign for impending epidemics.
