BABLE Side Event at the European Week of Regions and Cities

Event Title: The Smart Grid Paradigm for a Greener Future for Citizens - Illustrating the Green Transition during a live dialogue on core concepts and experiences from across Europe

While Smart Grids may be seen as a topic left for the technical practitioners, bringing this topic to higher-level conversations is imperative in these times of a severe energy crisis and the desperate need for a green transition. Smart Grids are a crucial enabler for Net Zero Transition and with citizens becoming prosumers (producers and active consumers of energy), it is critical to widen the discussion around smart grids.

BABLE, in the framework of the European Week of Regions and Cities 2022, will be hosting a side event on November 2, titled “The Smart Grid Paradigm for a Greener Future for Citizens”. This interactive and engaging session will bring a unique perspective from the SPARCS (Sustainable energy Positive & zero cARbon CommunitieS) Horizon 2020 European funded project.
