The City Council of Sant Antoni de Portmany (Ibiza) has given the green light in government meeting to the project for the implementation of 13 new double charging points for electric vehicles (EV) in the municipality with a budget of 264,688.67 euros.

    • the Secondary School (IES) Sa Serra,
    • the IES Quartó de Portmany,
    • the Infant and Primary School (CEIP) Cervantes,
    • the municipal library,
    • the bus stop of Sant Antoni,
    • s'Era d'en Manyà square,
    • Caló des Moro,
    • in the vicinity of the Local Police station, in the
    • in the villages of Sant Rafel, Sant Mateu, Santa Agnès, Can Bonet and ses Païsses.
  • In this way, the municipality expands the current electric vehicle charging network, which consists of five double points. The new installation includes 12 new semi-fast chargers and a fast charger with a single socket at the bus station, where there is already a double charging point.
  • The new chargers are attached to the electric mobility network in the Balearic Islands(MELIB), according to the existing agreement between the City Council of Sant Antoni de Portmany and the Balearic Institute of Energy (IBE), benefiting from its management, connectivity and maintenance systems.
  • he project has an execution period of nine months and is aligned with the environmental strategy of the municipality, which includes sustainability and mobility measures. It also caters to the municipality's growing fleet of electric vehicles.
