Goal of the project: TMB acts as the predominant public transport operator in Barcelona and its surroundings. Every day, thousands of people benefit from its services. In addition to managing the main metro and bus lines in the city and its metropolitan area, TMB provides different transport options for tourists: two urban bus routes, an intercity bus route and a cable car service.

TMB after failing to find technologies on the market that meet its needs, has decided to launch a public procurement process for innovation with two challenges under the TMBinnova project. These challenges seek to identify advanced systems in the transport sector focused on universal accessibility and new innovative information channels for users. The call is open to individuals and entities, both public and private, who can submit solutions individually or in collaboration.

The two challenges to attend are:

  1. Gap of curved platforms
  2. New information supports in the subway and on buses
It is divided into lots: No
