Challenge / Goal

The main objective of these devices is to allow the purchase of train tickets and enhance the experience of users who enjoy the Serbian railways, without having to wait in long queues to make the purchase at counters.

Solution

The EXDALI self-service kiosks are equipped with a receipt printer and a ticket printer, a webcam and an intercom so that users can communicate with the assistance at the train stations in case of need, and a flood sensor to prevent meteorological catastrophes of this type. In a project made to measure for the customer, the kiosks are also equipped with LED lights on the top of the equipment, allowing that, during the hours of lower luminosity, the kiosks are properly lit and identified with the LED light under the logo of the transport company.

The operating method of these kiosks is very simple. Users only have to select the destination and time, the type and quantity of tickets required on the interactive display and then follow the payment instructions. When starting the payment, at the kiosk itself, LED lights are activated that indicate the steps that users must follow, from inserting the card or using the contactless, to inserting the card code and confirming the payment.

Easy to use, self-service kiosks for ticket sales provide users with greater autonomy, in addition to creating a satisfying, pleasant and more practical experience.
