Moving Towards Zero! is a campaign co-created by Go Zero Waste, in collaboration with local governments and other local organisations, with the aim of promoting local business and waste reduction through inclusive gamification.

Challenge / Goal

We promote the role of citizenship towards a more sustainable and cohesive society through:

  1. Environmental education: Challenges and activities that promote sustainable habits
  2. Waste reduction: We face the challenge of the waste prevention and reduction
  3. We promote local trade: We strengthen the collaboration between the citizens and local shopping
  4. Inclusive gamification: Open to everyone through new technologies and the explanatory leaflet

Solution

  1. Selection of challenges, activities and prizes: Co-creation session where we select the most suitable challenges and activities for the city, company or community
  2. Design and programming: We create the poster, leaflet and all the graphic material. Finally we upload the challenges to Go Zero Waste App with an activation code
  3. Launch and communication: We present it to the population, company employees or the community. Also in local media and establishments

Citizen participation

Citizens can overcome the challenges, propose new challenges and highlight stores that are promoting zero waste and the circular economy.
