The service robot in our Bürgerbüro is an example of how we test digital applications in everyday life. "L2B2" should relieve the employees in the bureau and help to optimize processes.

Solution

First Information and guide for citizens visiting the Service Department: The digital helper named "L2B2" welcomes in the entrance area of the Bürgerbüros, drives independently through the corridors and accompanies the visitors to the respective departments.

Less waiting time; municipal employees can focus on individual help

Citizen participation

The citizens were informed via owned Media (Intranet, Newsletters, websites..), as well the Robot is placed on a public place (Bürgerbüro) where hundreds of citizens are coming by every day and additionally from the Media. The Name L2B2 was found through call to the population by the regional newspaper. In general the interest from Media was very big, because Ludwigsburg got the first Service-Robot in a city administration in Germany.
