1st Pilot Action: To promote electromobility in combination with Renewable Energy Sources (RES).
2nd Pilot Action: To promote recycling and waste separation at the source.
1st Pilot Action: Installation of 2 solar carports (at the Rethymno Marina and the main car park at 4 Martyrs Square), a charging station for electric vehicles and 5 charging stations for 20 electric bicycles and electric scooters, with 2 bicycle racks for 10 bicycles.
2nd Pilot Action: Placement of 153 waste collection bins at three different streams (plastics, rest of recyclables and general waste). The bins were placed on the city’s waterfront road and at municipal beaches.
