Peace, Justice And Strong Institutions
To develop a comprehensive municipal management platform based on document management (files and documents) that facilitates the integration and management of data and drives the digital transformation of the organization. The ultimate goal is to offer this tool with free software license to those entities that are interested.
GDMatrix has been used to develop multiple applications with web interface for citizens (municipal web, geoportal) and for municipal workers (intranet, corporate agenda, departmental applications, reports, attendance control, etc.). After nearly twenty years of development, GDMatrix is a key piece in the technological architecture of the City Council. In fact, all corporate applications (BPM, news, etc.) store documents in this municipal management platform .
Currently, two major versions of GDMatrix are generated every year (one per semester). The team of developers of the project decides, once a version is finished, which will be the new features to incorporate in the next one, according to the needs of the organization and the indications of the management. Thus, we can say that the planning of the development of new functionalities is done every 6 months and that it is a living tool that never stops evolving.
Citizens have not participated directly in the planning of this solution, but they have contributed to its development, since it is an open source platform.
