Ebbw Vale Leisure Centre has, like most businesses here, been hit by a large increase in energy costs due to the energy crisis. The Leisure Centre were looking for ways to become more economical with energy, environmentally friendly, and have data to compare with their Building Management Systems and inform change.
We installed 4 Milesight AM307 environment sensors in the Leisure Centre in the Swimming Pool area, Gymnasium, Sports Hall and Pool Balcony area to monitor Heat, Humidity, CO2 levels, Volatile Organic Compounds and Light. The locations were chosen where it was thought potential changes could be made using data collected. We later added a Decentlab Water temperature and pressure sensor to monitor for potential heat loss from the swimming pool.
