In the city, which meets the majority of Turkey's food needs, it is preferred to grow products that need less water, and there is a need to expand modern agricultural practices in order to increase product diversity.
Our aim is to increase productivity by bringing together the technology and artificial intelligence applications that are developing day by day with agriculture.
The Agricultural Area Analysis and Reporting Application have been put into service in order to contribute to the agricultural activities carried out in the region. These services were helped determined in the first place by the farmers carrying out agricultural activities in Konya and by Konya Metropolitan Municipality.
The system works via remote sensing methods and web platforms, by using satellite images on the Geographical Information Systems (GIS) infrastructure. Our farmers are able to follow the land parcels they own in Konya, present the analysis results and the producers' products in their parcels, daily weather conditions, soil conditions and other such variables. Within the framework of this important information they have obtained, they can receive analyses, reports and necessary notifications about the land, product and productivity. This can help in the long-term to obtain the maximum yield from the crops in their fields, thanks to the recommendations made to them.
