• Simple to install and maintenance free: Solareye80 can be used virtually anywhere. Choose from our installation packages or supply only, and with no hard-wiring it’s possible to fit up to 200 units in a day. Once in place your lighting will look after itself requiring little or no routine maintenance.
• Hardwearing: with an LED lifespan of 100,000+ hours and long-life batteries (8 years+ anticipated), you won’t have to worry about replacement any time soon. The unit is also completely sealed/waterproof and rated as IP68 – the highest IP rating available for dust and water immersion.
• You choose the alignment: The Solareye works horizontally & vertically - as long as they receive some direct sunlight. The dimpled surface helps to capture more light.
• Ecologically friendly: The Solareye80 comes in a range of colours including warm white, which is recommended to minimise the impact of artificial lighting on nocturnal animals. Furthermore, the Solareye80 is available with a 'Bat Hat' modification which reduces upward light spillage by 98%, making it the perfect option for conservation areas or dark sky reserves.
