Urban Future. The Better-Cities Event 2027 (UF27) will take place in Istanbul from 13 to 16 April 2027, bringing together more than 2,000 attendees, 250 speakers, and 150 mayors and city leaders to explore how cities can become more resilient, liveable and future-ready.

The 2027 programme is built around three interconnected themes: Ready Cities, People-Powered Cities, and Urban Branding. Together, they examine how cities can strengthen resilience, empower communities and define authentic identities that support long-term prosperity.

For its Istanbul edition, Urban Future is introducing a new hosting model, working alongside civic organisations Humane Urbanism and Türkiye Design Council in partnership with the host city.
