Driving Scalable Innovation and International Collaboration for Next Generation Cities

Hosted by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and co-organised by BABLE Smart Cities and Urban Innovators Global, the Urban Innovation Leadership Forum 2025 brought together over 110 urban leaders, policymakers, and experts from across Türkiye and Europe. Set against the backdrop of accelerating digitalisation and climate urgency, UILF 2025 explored practical pathways for shaping resilient, inclusive, and future-ready cities.

BABLE played a key role in structuring the event, coordinating stakeholder engagement, moderating sessions, and delivering impactful follow-up communications.

  • Pre-event planning and session design

Developed the full agenda, session formats, and materials. Supported guest list and speaker management, aligned with the strategic goals of the host city.

  • Event facilitation and logistics

Delivered on-site moderation and VIP coordination, supported speakers, ensured smooth session transitions, and facilitated both formal and informal networking opportunities.

  • Post-event communications

Created a post-event newsletter in  BABLE Smart Cities , What Happened at UILF 2025? A Glimpse into the Next Generation Cities , gathered participant feedback, and produced a detailed report summarising session outcomes, recommendations, and future collaboration opportunities.
