The Southern Region aspires to be one of Europe's most creative and innovative, liveable and greenest regions via the implementation of the regional spatial and economic strategy. #Southern Regional Assembly acknowledges the importance of both urban and rural communities in achieving this goal. This is clearly demonstrated by the desire to establish a Smart Southern Region (SSR). 

The 18th of January #Southern Regional Assembly will have their launch event and @Nikita Shetty will be presenting about Regional Approach to Smart Specialisation and Capacity Building for a Smart Region, where she will present some of the takeaways from the project COHES3ION.
