Survey about introducing new technologies in public transport
We invite all transport authorities and providers to assist our efforts within IMPACTS -an EIT Urban Mobility- project to evaluate the introduction of new technologies into our public transport system by elaborating on a questionnaire.
IMPACTS is a one-year project supported by EIT Urban Mobility, which is testing the introduction of feedback mechanisms amongst users of public transport to jointly strengthen safety, enable mutual support and improve the urban environment. The project aims to foster trust and empower passengers to report issues that make them feel insecure while using public transport.
The project will develop two main outputs:
- An app that enables passengers to connect with each other, and to offer and receive support. The app will also allow passengers to easily report issues within transportation and the urban space.
- A dashboard that allows cities and transport providers to receive aggregated insights regarding passenger reports and allows them to utilize new feedback channels.
Your experienced feedback in public transport and space is considered as invaluable to drive the implementation of communication and feedback mechanisms among passengers, transport providers and public authorities. The survey will take about 15 minutes to fill in and all responses remain anonymous.
