BABLE is supporting further uptake of standard describing Smart City Solutions
In 2018-2019, BABLE contributed to the development of the DIN standard for the description and assessment of good practices for Smart City Solutions (CWA 17381) with the goal of facilitating uptake and replication of the solutions. The standard is well aligned with the Use Case template from BABLE, which has been used by the BABLE community to share around 300 best practices in the past two years.
The standardisation of information while sharing Smart City best practices helps cities learn from each other and accelerates adoption of solutions that are transforming our urban areas!
The development of the standard was initiated by the EU-funded Horizon2020 project SMARTER TOGETHER included within its replication activities. We are glad to be supporting DIN, Fraunhofer IAO and the Smarter Together Consortium in encouraging further uptake of the standard across Europe.
