Scalable Cities: Climate Data Training

The project in Dundee aims to tackle the current disjointed approach to data training across different city departments, addressing the varying levels of capacity and focus that hinder effective data utilization. It underscores the need for a standardized training program to foster better collaboration and overcome barriers to utilizing net-zero data for strategic decision-making. The central goal of the project is to empower individuals with enhanced skills and knowledge in data handling, thereby improving decision-making processes and elevating data literacy citywide. By incorporating lessons from Smart Cities and Communities Best Practices, the project intends to create a robust training program that will enable optimal data use for informed decisions, directly supporting Dundee's goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2045.
