BABLE's Impact: Driving Innovation in Cities Through Successful Implementation of Scalable Cities Grant Projects

BABLE has been instrumental in supporting cities like in implementing innovative projects under the Scalable Cities Grant such as the Climate Data Literacy Capacity Building Programme in Dundee, Scotland, and the Systemic Governance Change of Onda's Net-Zero Missions. The competition process made BABLE successful in 4 out of 5 applications. These projects received funding ranging from 19,575 to 44,550 EUR from the Scalable Cities fund.

Project Definition & Successful Projects:

Scalable Cities Grant is a financial tool to support the replication of measures already successfully tested in Smart Cities and Communities (SCC- Project Cluster) projects. The SCC-Project Cluster has nearly a decade of experience in activities related to the implementation of energy transition in cities. It comprises 18 large-scale demonstration projects involving 120 cities. The grant is organized through 4 calls covering different themes. The calls are addressed to cities and potential partners interested in replicating specific actions of these projects.
