Ayto de Boltaña receives more than 1 M EUR for the implementation of a heating network.

The Government of Spain, through the Recovery and Resilience Plan financed by the European Union, has granted a direct aid to the Town Council of Boltaña (Huesca) to implement a heat network for the amount of 1,067,736.87 euros. The objective is to provide thermal energy necessary for heating and DHW production in public buildings located in the surroundings of Samper Street in the town of Boltaña (Huesca).

- The grant awarded to the Municipality of Boltaña is part of the DUS 5000 program for unique local clean energy projects in municipalities with demographic challenges.
- The aid received is divided in two parts, on the one hand, 549,617.61 euros for the heat network and, on the other hand, 518,119.27 euros for the biomass.
- These actions in Boltaña will reduce CO2 emissions, in addition to improving the qualification of several buildings such as the Congress Palace, the public school, the nursery, home school or the municipal sports center.
