Embark on an extraordinary journey with the project as we dive into groundbreaking public procurement of innovation. Tailored to meet leader and follower cities' unique needs, this opportunity is set to redefine urban landscapes. Here's a glimpse of the excitement:

 Mission: Customize services and products for leader cities initially, extending the benefits to follower cities.

 Framework: Eight leading European cities, backed by a federated public procurement of innovation call led by ANCI Toscana, with potential benefits for the remaining 7 cities. This blueprint for replication and scalability is mirrored for follower cities.

 Approach: Adopting the innovation partnership model in line with art. 31 of Directive 2014/24/EU, ANCI spearheads and manages tenders on behalf of the cities.

 Insights: Prior to the calls, ANCI, in collaboration with the consortium, orchestrates 12 (online) Open Market Consultations. These discussions, revolving around the 12 challenge documents, will craft the upcoming calls.

  •  Tender Phases:

  1. First Half: Launching eight calls for innovation partnerships for leader cities (4 per hub and 1 per city), with a substantial global budget of 2.3 million Euros.

  2. Second Half: Unleashing four calls for innovation partnerships for service replication (1 per follower city without a limitation per hub), backed by a dedicated global budget of 700,000 Euros.
