A new charging depot with 12 charges has been implemented at a local Park and Ride site to charge 13 new BYD buses . These buses will be deployed on the Centrelink and Ecolink bus routes and operate along the city's new ULEV (Ultra Low Emssion Vehicles) shared lane which when completed in March 2018 will provide bus priority for both electric and biomethane buses and also allow electric cars to use bus lanes for a trial period.

The Electric Vehicle Office in the city plays a key role to manage and support the deployment of electro-mobility in Valladolid. It acts as a catalyser.
Selecting the location of each charging point requires a deep analysis of variables such as physical barriers, demand in the near area, distance between other points, etc. It is also important to consider other private operators in the area that also cover the demand.

Building integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) is the integration of photovoltaics (PV) into the building envelope. The PV module serves the dual function of power generator and replacement of conventional building envelope materials. BIPV systems can provide savings in materials and electricity costs, reduce use of fossil fuels and emission of ozone depleting gases, and add architectural interest to the building. It will have a total capacity of 150 kWe, will produce 240 MWh/year electricity which yields 125454 kgCO2e reduction.
New heating network
As part of the HeatNet North West Europe Interreg project, Aberdeen City Council is completing a pilot project in Torry. An existing district heating network within this area currently serves three multi-storey blocks. The pilot will expand this existing network, linking in three municipal buildings. In 2002 Aberdeen City Council formed a separate not for profit company to provide combined heat and power (CHP) schemes in Aberdeen. Electric Vehicle (EV) utilisation is growing at an extremely rapid rate, as more people become aware of the benefits, the technology becomes more competitive with traditional ICE vehicle, and the designs of the EV's become more fashionable. However, the infrastructure required to support the current - and predicted - forecasts of EV ownership is not in place, and rates of implementation are not high enough; recent reports in the UK suggested up to 40,000 more EV chargepoints (EVCP) a month needed to be installed to support the transition from ICE.

The Real-Time Energy Map solution takes as input the immediate energy consumption in the area based on database data, potentially using the ESRI GIS system. The solution is a mix of data collection, data store and aggregation and data visualisation (interpretation):
Data Collection: data such as temperature, humidity, gas and electricity consumption is collected from a diverse range of installed sensors in the dwellings . The data is collected on regular basis intervals (typically 15 minutes to 1 hour).
