Solutions
To make the public transport more accesible and convenient to use, a multi functional mobility app and ticket is launched in Cologne providing users of public transport the access to use shared cars, (e)-bikes, buses, trams etc. with one ticket. It is an enhancement of the existing subscription ticket enabling the travelers to use the shared mobility services along with their seasonal ticket. A special interface was built between the two apps. The idea was originated from the GrowSmarter project but implemented by Cambio and KVB. This will help commuters who do not have have end to end public transportation offer to use flexible car sharing for final points.
