• Ambition to become the UK's Green Bus Capital -supports other OLEV and Nottingham City Transport investment in 53 Biomethane Double Deck Buses;
• Improve air quality;
• Decrease vehicle congestion;
• Lower carbon emissions
A new charging depot with 12 charges has been implemented at a local Park and Ride site to charge 13 new BYD buses . These buses will be deployed on the Centrelink and Ecolink bus routes and operate along the city's new ULEV (Ultra Low Emssion Vehicles) shared lane which when completed in March 2018 will provide bus priority for both electric and biomethane buses and also allow electric cars to use bus lanes for a trial period.
