The Mayor of London’s Civic Innovation Challenge offers an opportunity for start-ups to work together with leading corporates and public organisations to tackle some of London’s most pressing problems.

 

This is a challenge for start-ups to develop innovative solutions to reduce inequality, prevent climate change and support London’s ageing population.

About the Civic Innovation Challenge

Start-ups will work together with corporates and public organisations to develop and test their solutions, while receiving business support and mentoring. 

Successful start-ups will gain:

  • a chance to validate and test solutions directly with potential customers and partners, and access to £15,000 for testing
  • business support and mentoring from Bethnal Green Ventures, and support from partners
  • a valuable opportunity for customer development, with direct access to potential customers
  • recognition and media exposure for being part of the Mayor of London’s flagship innovation programme

The City of London is seeking to obtain a market view on how the City of London Corporation (the City) might structure a Major Works strategy which will deliver economy, efficiency, and effectiveness at both an individual project and programme levels. Companies or organisations with an interest are invited to respond with the questionnaire provided. The City may conduct a further series of short meetings for an informal exchange of ideas.
