The EU Office of the Northern Netherlands is an in-house office representing the cities Groningen, Leeuwarden, Assen and Emmen in the EU. The aim of the office is to represent the interests of the cities and to develop innovative projects with international partners in the EU.
The office very active on the topic of Smart Cities. For this reason we are one of the leaders of the ERRIN Smart Cities Working Group and are we active in several European Networks for cities, such as Eurocities and POLIS.
